Yearbook Cover Design Contest

Your student is invited to participate in our school-wide yearbook cover design contest by submitting hand drawn artwork for the 2025-2026 yearbook. The 5th grade students have chosen the theme Mixtape for the yearbook! The design template will be sent home as part of the PTA Newsletter this week, or you can also use a 8.5x11 inch piece of white paper.  Students should return their designs to their teachers by Monday, 12/1. Students will vote for their favorite design and the winning design will be featured as our yearbook cover. Contact Ms. Lingenbrink if you need assistance with basic art supplies (such as crayons, watercolors, or colored pencils) to participate in the contest. Here are some tips:

  • Draw in pencil first and then trace over with pen/marker (then erase pencil marks)
  • Color with pens and markers and try to stay in the lines while coloring
  • Keep all important text and artwork away from the edge
  • Include student’s full name and teacher’s name in pencil on the back

Be creative and have fun! The art must be created entirely by the student
