Save the Date - Family Math and Literacy Night

We are excited to invite you to Challenger’s Family Math and Literacy Night on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  This fun and interactive event is designed to bring our whole community together and celebrate our love of learning!  Families will be able to enjoy hands-on math stations where they can play games, solve puzzles, and explore creative ways to strengthen math skills at home. There will also be reading and writing activities, including a bookmark making station, journal making and games/activities that promote literacy development for students of all ages.  There will even be a life size Esti-Mystery game to end the evening.  This is an activity students practice in school to increase their number sense.  Three lucky winners will be selected from the correct guesses and they will get to put a whipped cream pie in a staff members face on the stage! 

We hope you are able to attend.  Participating in events like these help increase the bond between home and school by exploring learning activities together.  Come connect with teachers, staff, and other parents to support a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom.  We will even have practical tips and strategies to support your child’s math and literacy growth at home.  It will be a great opportunity to meet other families, share ideas, and build a strong community of learners! 

This event is free and open to all families at Challenger. Please bring your whole family for a night full of learning, laughter, and fun!
